Recently we celebrated the 30th year of Ducart with the participation of all the workers. Avshalom Ben David, the CEO, gave the following speech.
" Exactly 30 years ago, also at the beginning of the spring, our Kibbutz decided to establish a new company for the manufacture of printed and folded cartons - It's name was Ducart. The decision to enter the line of carton packaging was taken after searching for 2 years. Indeed until today we are manufacturers of carton packaging, whose products can be found in every fridge and supermarket in Israel. We are the main activity of the Kibbutz and also support 150 families outside of the Kibbutz.
All of us here are responsible for this - from the founders that were there along with the first machines, to the many young people who today carry most of the responsibility. Today we can forget the difficulties and the frustrations, and look back with satisfaction and pride on our achievements. We did it together, every one of us, in his work, in his position and in the framework of his responsibility - only together could we have risen to the challenge.
30 years is quite a lot, but like any youngster of that age, we can also say that this is only the beginning. We, at the Ducart Group, the three companies that manufacture carton packaging, milk cartons and disposable carton cups are here to stay, to move forward, to grow, to find new markets and to continue our achievements.
