The company manufactures, in Israel, drinking cups and disposable
packaging for the catering industry, and also markets
complementary products manufactured by International
 Paper USA. The cups are made from Polyethylene
coated board (one-sided for hot drinks and two-sided
for cold drinks). This carton, that is used by the company
for the manufacture of cups has many advantages for the
environment, as it comes from a renewable source and in
 the great part decomposes in the waste site.
The company can also supply cups made from PLA coated
board, it's source being from corn instead of the polyethylene,
which is from oil.  These cups completely decompose.
The usage of these cups is developing quickly due to
the growing awareness of the importance of caring for the
environment. Ducart Packaging Industries holds 50%
of the shares of Ducart IP Foodservice, and 50% are held
by International Paper in the USA., which is one of the
largest companies in the world for carton board and paper
and also manufactures disposable  cups and
complementary products for the catering industry.
