Pre-Press
The pre-press department is equipped with Macintosh computers, prepares sophisticated designs, and prepares the graphics for printing according to the customer's requirements.Checks the colors of the picture, spreading the sheet of paper and printing quality.Prepares the printing plates for the offset machines in the plant.

Production
Offset machines up to 90 x 130 cm, 6 colors + lacquer.  
Sheet printing machine up to 72 x 105 cm, 6 colors + 2 lacquers.
3 cutting machines  up to 90 x 130 cm.  Transparent "window" patching machine.
3 gluing and folding machines. 
Erecting machines for the forming of conical boxes. Laminator - Fixing printed laminated sheets to corrugated board (E-flute, B-Flute).

Products
After the design stage, Ducart's production teams implement the printing (offset), die-cutting, finishing processes (such as window patching), folding and gluing. In order to make it easier, we have divided our products into a number of groups by type of raw material used, production process and usage.
Corrugated board cartons: Used for heavier and bigger products or those that require special protection. Are produced from corrugated board 1.5 - 5 mm thick, where pre-printed sheets of thin board are laminated to a stronger corrugated board. 
 

Erected cartons: Are unique in that these cartons arrive "ready for use". There is no need to open or to glue, just put the product in and close! In order to reduce the volume for transportation and storage, these cartons are conical and thus sit one inside of the other - similar to disposable cups. They can be "leak-proof", and are especially suitable for take-away meals.
 

Baking trays:  Disposable baking trays were developed at Ducart from special carton board that is suitable for use in ovens (to a temperature of 180ºC). These baking trays are manufactured in many varied standard sizes, but it is also possible for the customer to order special sizes according to his needs. The baking trays are printed on offset, do not leak, are easily opened and can be heated in a microwave or conventional oven.
 

Packing systems:  From our experience, we have learnt that it is not enough just to design the packaging most suited to the product but in order to best serve our customers, we also need to address the work method in their packing department, and sometimes, the actual production process itself.
The packing system can be automatic, manual or a combination of both, but in each case, it has to give a practical and economical solution to the product packaging. Here at Ducart, we try to view the carton packaging as part of our customer's packing system. In cooperation with a number of machine manufacturers with whom we work, Ducart can help you in the planning of an efficient tailor-made packaging system to accommodate your specific needs (product - packaging - output - manpower - space - budget).

Special machines: Each of you is unique and special - and sometimes there is a need for a carton that is different to all the rest.... During the years, we have developed the ability to help our customers and the machine manufacturers design unique products - without compromising on quality and the automatic production process. Even if this seems impossible, it is worth a try!
 

Manual closing machine: In order to allow our customers to pack their products in a well-sealed carton, without the need for a substantial investment, here at Ducart we have developed a simple machine for this purpose. The machine is intended for production in large amounts, but enables you to delay the investment in expensive equipment until your product has become established in the market. 
The machine glues the two sides of the carton after it has been filled manually. It is possible to reach, with a number of workers, a rate of 20 cartons per minute. The gluing is carried out with hot glue (Hot Melt).
It is also easy to adjust the machine for various carton sizes. The cartons produced for our machine are suitable for many types of automatic machines, and thus there is no need to reinvest in the production of cartons once the automatic machine has been bought.
It is sometimes possible to suit this machine for closing shaped (non-square) cartons.
